MANILA – Megaworld Corp has launched the fifth residential building in its township project in Iloilo on the back of strong demand.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, the property holding firm of billionaire Andrew Tan said the 22-storey The Palladium, standing 80 meters high, will be the tallest building in Western Visayas and will have its own sky gardens in various floors offering a view of the booming city.
“Since last year, we have been experiencing consistent growth in the demand for residential towers in Iloilo Business Park. Everyday, we get inquiries about new projects and everyone wants the best views and amenities from the condominiums that they look for. That is why selling the four towers of our first two residential projects, One Madison Place and Lafayette Park Square, was very easy,” said Jennifer Palmares-Fong, head of marketing at Iloilo Business Park.
The Palladium will offer 482 units ranging from studio (29.50 square meters), to executive studio (39.50 square meters), one-bedroom (49.50 square meters) and two-bedrooms (83.50 square meters), which will be divided into North Wing and South Wing. Exclusive loft units ranging from 76-115 square meters will be available at the topmost floor of the tower.
The development will feature state-of-the-art amenities including an infinity pool, a children’s pool, outdoor and indoor fitness center, day care center, lawn area for events, and a function hall.
Iloilo Business Park is a 72-hectare township development that will be home to luxury residential condominiums, state-of-the-art BPO office towers, a mall, a boutique hotel and commercial district, the 1.1-kilometer Festive Walk commercial and retail strip, open parks, transport hub, and the Iloilo Convention Center, among others.
Megaworld has allotted P35-billion for the development of the township in the next 10 years, making it the real estate firm’s single largest investment outside Metro Manila.
